Chili
Yesterday I was microwaving a baked potato and thinking how wonderful it would be to put some chili on it. Chili always reminds me of my grandma. She LOVED chili. One day when I was younger she was at our house and she told me of a craving she had for chili, I told her chili was one of my favorite things and she got so excited that we liked the same thing. It made me feel like I had a connection to her and I think she felt the same way. Chili has bonded us together. When I see people who do things or like the same things as their parents or grandparents it is a small little miracle and reminder that we are truly Connected to each other. Chili was one of the things that really helped me connect, bond and gain a relationship with my grandma. I never eat chili without thinking of and remembering her. Thank goodness for chili, it always brightens my day.

A wonderful idea that was not my own
Dear Family and Friends,
This is going to be a blog about my grandmother Ginger. I am going to be writing her life history and this is how I will keep all of you updated on the progress as well as sharing parts of her story with you as we all collaborate together.
Much love, Tiffany
